Fireproof sleeves

Diameter: 8 – 150 mm

Temperature resistance:
2000°F (1090°C) for 15-20 minutes
3000°F (1650°C) for 15-30 seconds

Properties:
A densely braided fibreglass sleeve can withstand molten steel, molten aluminum and melted glass up to 3000ºF (1650ºC). Industrial t-shirts withstand several times exposure to molten steel, molten aluminum and melted glass up to 3000ºF (1650ºC). The thickness of the metal oxide coating of the red silicone sleeve causes the melted metal to splash, which protects against heat flow. Exposed to fire, silicone rubber turns into a brittle material producing the SiO2 protective coating. Industrial t-shirts are made of dense fiberglass braid. The high flexibility of the material allows the use of sleeves for coils of cables, tubes and hoses exposed to extreme thermal conditions. Thanks to the use of this highly insulating material, you protect your employees from temperature burns while preventing heat loss.
