Calcium silicate boards
Calcium silicate boards have high mechanical strength and high thermal stability. The boards are resistant to pressure and to reducing gases such as H2, CO, CH4, NH3, N2. Calcium silicate boards have a capillary structure that allows water absorption and properties of the product don’t change after it is dried. They are harmless to health and have been classified as a construction product that is environmentally friendly and can be disposed of as building rubble. They are used in various industries: the construction of fireplaces, furnaces, dryers, cement industry and petrochemical industry as the classic insulating material.
Properties:
- resistance to continuous temperature load of 1000°C
- good insulating properties
- high resistance to compression and bending
- high thermal stability
- low-specific gravity
- wear resistance
- resistance to protective gases
- environmentally friendly, harmless to health
- easy to process
- wide range of formats, dimensional stability.
