Aerogel mats are made on the basis of aerogel silica, which is the lightest solid found. They are characterized by the lowest thermal conductivity coefficient. By strengthening them with glass/ceramic fibers have achieved very good physical properties. Excellent water resistance allows water vapor permeability, so it does not corrode insulated components. The combination of all these characteristics provides unlimited possibilities in any situation. This makes the Areogel mats ideal for insulation of pipes, furnaces, tanks, valves and most irregular surfaces.
