Mullite bricks

cegły

Light firebrick, called mullite, is made of fireproof materials and highly granular powders of high cleanliness. Organic fillers are also used in production process. Bricks undergo vacuum compression and then are sintered in high temperatures. Made from highest grade of raw materials, their thermal resistance is, depending on the type: 1300°C, 1400°C, 1500°C, 1550°C, 1600°C. They find application mainly as lining in all kinds of furnaces in metallurgical, petrochemical, ceramic, machine and building industries. They are easy to handle and can be cut to size.

Właściwości:
- resistance to continuous use in up to 1300 - 1600°C
- low conductivity and capacity
- suitable for use in hot zones
- resistance to compressing and stretching
- resistance to temperature shocks
- easy to handle – can be cut to size, uniform density, dimensional stability
